Stick To Your Passions

No matter what is going on in my personal life, I consider myself very lucky to have my music to escape to. Even on my worst weeks, I know that as long as I make it to band practice, everything will be okay. A year ago, I didn’t think my band would still exist now, yet here I am releasing my second full-band album in two weeks with some of the best people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Releasing Enchiridion of Nightmares and headlining the Marquis on April 13th is what’s keeping me going right now. I went through a lot to be where I’m at right now and I’m not going to let anything or anyone ruin it. Music is what has kept me alive this long. I’ve gone to hell and back numerous times and each time all I kept thinking was “I can’t just give up. I have all this new music that I need to create and perform.” And I find that every time I get close to giving up everything, another song idea comes along. That’s my lifeline. Music is literally what keeps me alive and moving forward. And I’m very grateful to have that. Stick to your passions, my friends. People will come and go in your life, but your passion and creativity will always stick by you and give you the courage to live on. Hold onto that. Happy Friday, friends. 🤘🏻
