One Year Anniversary of the Wind

A year ago today, I announced that I was transforming my solo music into a rock band. I had found a group of people to play in my band, and we became Sharone & The Wind. Today is a strange day for me. I’m looking back over the past year with so many mixed emotions. I’ve learned so much not only about myself, but also the music industry, and what it’s like to work with people. I started out with a lineup of musicians who I was friends with beforehand, and they offered to play for me. I’ve come to realize that if you’re serious about what you do, working with friends is not always the best idea. After ten months, the entire first lineup had fallen apart. I consider this nothing but a gift. After dealing with all the pain that came from the first lineup and its deterioration, I was fortunate to find the perfect group of people. It finally feels like a real band, and I couldn’t be happier. I regret nothing. Things can only go up from here.
